It honestly can get quite distressing nowdays just by reading the papers. Job cuts, lower consumer spending, reports that the dismal economy is going to get worse etc etc.
Chatted with 2 friends just now and learnt that the respective banks they are working at had retrenched people. Also heard another bank just did too. The news are apparently not out in the papers yet.
Those still holding on to their jobs are on tenterhooks now and morale is low. Those not working... Haiz.
It's all so depressing.
are suicide cases up yet?
