Was chatting to a friend earlier and I asked him out of the blue if he would ever cheat (or something along the line) on his wife-to-be. His candid reply was 'definitely would detour abit along the way but I will make sure I will go back on track'.
Detour? Ha! At least he was being truthful i guess. Better than some two-faced, sneaky boyfriends, so called staunch church goers (no offence to church goers, i said some, not all!), 'loving' husbands/ father of two etc etc.
Anyway, we somehow got to the topic of KTVs (the other kind, not Party World hor) and i proceeded to dig out some juicy bits of info about the KTV session that the whole department (from our ex company) went.
Well, the info was pretty juicy (i shall spare my readers the lurid details), and let's just say that the whole department of guys were cheating on their other halves save for one or two good boys - or maybe 5 cheated, depending on what you think constitutes as 'cheating'.
Some were married with kids, some were getting married, and some had long term girlfriends whom they were planning to marry.
It's really pretty sad i would say, considering the goody- two- shoes front that some of the guys portray in office and in front of their partners. I have seen and heard them cooing into the phone with their girlfriends and wives like meek little lambs and it's pretty disgusting to see that it's all an act. YUCKS.
I am not adopting a holier- than- thou attitude here but is it so hard to be faithful, especially when you are married?? I don't think i would ever understand the thrills and pleasure(pun intended) KTVs offer since i am not a guy.
And I guess sometimes it's really better not to know too much.
maybe this is one of the many reasons why someone needs to go to church? meaning of redemption? ;)
ReplyDeletemaybe the goody-two-shoes imgage they portray at work is the real them while the one at KTVs is fake? how does one know which is real?
quite far fetched to think that the whole lot was faking it throughout the session. I shall spare my readers the lurid details.
ReplyDeleteyou don't wanna be the odd one out right. so everybody follow the leader!! :P
ReplyDeleteespecially if the leader is the boss.:P
'following the pack' doesnt absolve the guy of any wrong doing.
ReplyDeletegirls wanna have their own fun too. even when they are attached.
