Afterlife

Happy birthday , Dad.

I have always wondered if there is an afterlife.

And if there is, why have I never ‘sensed’ your presence?

And if there is, have you met with Peanut?

I used to say out loud ‘where is Old Master?’ And Peanut will look up to the left or right, as though you were in the room. He didn’t remember you during his final months though.

If there is, I hope both of you are having the ball of your lives playing with his favorite ball.

I miss you both so much.
