I received news that a friend was getting divorced today.
The news about the divorce came as a complete surprise to me. I think I barely managed a straight face. Never expected it. She's about as normal as you and me. Mild tempered, easy going (than me :P), affable.
Apparently it can happen to anyone. It happens not just to frivolous, bad tempered, unresonable people etcetc as opposed to popular belief.
One more down. And it adds more to my disillusion about the staying power of relationships.
The agony and pain of breakups, and yet we still bother to fall in love. Ahh.
